Packet pick up at 6:30 p.m. Friday January 3 at The Trail Running Film Festival at Clyde Iron Works - 2920 W Michigan St, Duluth, MN 55806.  Can also pick up packet sprior to race start at start/finish line on Saturday morning.

THE COURSES:

All of our course utilize the awesome, packed fat bike trails in Duluth.  The trail surfaces, when conditions are good, are tremendous for trail running.  Weather conditions can affect trail surfaces and runners should be prepared for any type of condition on race day from packed, snow covered, icy, soft, and possibly really cold!  Come prepared for any condition and you'll have fun!  Of course, we'll be hoping for perfect conditions on race day, but in winter, you have to be prepared for anything.

CHECK IN: 

Check in for most of the races will be the morning of the race prior to the start.

​

For our Northwoods Winter Trail Marathon and Half Marathon Championships, you may check in at The Trail Running Film Festival at Clyde Iron Works (2920 W Michigan St, Duluth, MN 55806) the night before the race starting at 6:30 p.m. when the doors open for the Film Fest.  You may also check in the morning prior to the race start.  Please consider attending the Film Fest the night before our event.  It will be a fun evening!

 

AWARDS:

Every runner will receive a Duluth Winter Trail Series shirt.  One shirt for the series.

​

Special race shirt for Northwoods Winter Trail Marathon and Half Marathon Championships. No guarantee of race shirt or correct sizes for late entrants.  (NO CUSTOM SHIRTS MADE IF FEWER THAN 50 RUNNERS REGISTERED 2 WEEKS BEFORE RACE DAY.  In such a case, runners will receive the Duluth Winter Trail Series shirt if they haven't already received one at another series race)

Overall Men's and Women's Champion awards for each race.
